Dear Father, Poem by Daisy Quevedo

Dear Father,

Rating: 4.7

you hurt me bad,
you hurt me sad,
you don't even know, how much you had,
a loving family, in which you broke,
don't laugh, because this isn't a joke
sometimes i wonder, if you care,
but i stop, and laugh,
remember you weren't there
i don't know what to say,
i hope your children didn't get in your way
how many chances are you allowed to get,
cause I'm sick,
sick of being here with a father unfit,
going to AA classes but all you do is sit,
one day i wish, that you would come back
cause that's not you, its the drugs for a fact
so you can call, when your my father
but until then, do NOT bother.

While this poem is far from perfect, there is more than enough here to recommend it for reading. The Communication and the meaning are both crystal clear. The sentiment cuts very deep with the kind of emotion people like to read. There is very little creativity included here but that is never necessary for a recommendation. GW62
