Dear Grandma Poem by malique reese

Dear Grandma

Dear grandma there is so much I want to say, I miss you every night, every moment, and each day.
As I live everyday life I think of the special bond we shared, you know the things you used to do to show that you cared.
There was never a dull moment when we were together, you taught me discipline, love, and the respect for my elders as I face new problems I stand and I nod, for all I could think about is my family and god, that is what keeps me moving forward day by day.
I have to keep faith so therefore I pray; you gave me pride as long as I tried to be the best I can be for the world to see.
So I give a flower in memory of my grandma this flower is for my love, I know you're looking down on me from the heavens above.
You were always patient, inspirational, and kind.
Dear grandma you are like the tie that I bind.
