As I lie silently weeping alone in my bed
My thoughts turn to you
The memory of you
Departing this world prematurely
Before I got the chance to kiss you good-bye
Before I got the chance to tell you “I love you” one last time
Before the world got to see the snapshots of beauty you created
Rest peacefully dear brother
Knowing that I love you
Knowing that you touched so many hearts
Changed lives
Just by being you
