Dear Mother Poem by BONGOKOBIDA ZAKARIA

Dear Mother

Dear Mother—

In evoked the sun as dear mother that day is gave light of knowledge
I dreamed as early lover on that day, I dreamed the way release

Once I covered my face by mother’s scar being afraid of lightning
Mother is my last shelter - that day gave me this feeling

O! Mother how could you left me making me orphan?
Like you in this world who will embrace me like a kinsman

Keeping head on whose chest I feel you she is my darling.
