I close my eyes
and you are all that i see
I feel your presence
as if you have never left
yet i remember
with tears as
i watched you fade away
though i loved you so dearly
i could not make you stay
if only you could see the tears in my eyes
that you left behind
everyday there's an image of your face
which makes my life so miserable
it is difficult not being able to spend one more day with you
you have filled me with
wisdom and grace
i love you my precious mother
devoted wife, caring mother, sister and aunt
like you have always been
may you soul rest in perfect peace
