Dear, dear store
Don't you trust me anymore,
As you did last year
When you had a cashier.
Now I am doing your very job
I am not trying to steal or rob,
As I weigh and then scan the prices
On your very own devices.
I shop and I shop always at your outlet
As you know we all are not a seasoned vet.
And I don't ever get a discount
Of any monetary amount.
Now as I stand in the self checkout
I am confused again without a doubt,
I'm not trying to prove I did your job for you
I'm just trying to make it through.
You made over a billion dollars last year
As your CEOS and Shareholders cheer,
But, you don't care about my wants or need
You are just full of greed.
I don't want to hear your money saving story
So, don't audit me for a position you refuse to employ,
And then to make your greed complete
You hired an employee at the exit to check my receipt.
