Death Poem by Frank Sheehan

Death

Rating: 5.0

When you
have one of your
loved ones
in the
Intensive Care Unit
at the hospital
you start
to ponder
the fragility of life.
You never
think this day
will come
but it sneaks
up on you
and you realize
how easy it is
to slip
from life
to death.
But modern medicine
keeps us alive
struggling
for survival.

Everything else is now unimportant. There is hope.
