Death Can'T Stop Me - Poem by Steffi Webster

Do not cry for I'm not gone
I'm still with you dearest one
Look in your heart keep close what you see
This is a secret between you and me
I am the air the light in the sky
I am the clouds that float gently by
I am the moon the song in your soul
Without me you'd never be whole
Don't be sad I will not leave
I now this is hard to conceive
But in your heart you know I'm here
I'm in your joy I'm in that tear

Steffi, I know how you feel when you lose a loved pet whether they be big or small. All animal lovers will be touched by this. It is really heartfelt. I do believe that our pets become part of our family and never really leave us. Thanks for sharing it.

Heartfelt, Steffi. I think it deserves the simple couplet-style treatment you gave it. (Report) Reply
