Death Does Us No Harm Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Death Does Us No Harm

Death does us no harm
For it is the body that's destroyed
When once you heard of our demise
Even the soul that refuses God
Is kept alive
For a life after death
Comes a different phase
Where the good will be meshed to differentiate from wrong
Both the rich and poor alike

Death does us no harm
Them God lives in their heart
Express exceedingly joy
Though the world may feel remorse
And mostly our loved ones
When once our beloved is gone
But this isn't the end of the road
For only the world we're deprived
And not eternal life

Death does us no harm
No matter how she disguise herself
Or the season she chooses to come
She only takes our sufferings away
And nothing more

Which ever day we are called
We've got to be happy knowing its the will of God
There's no point to kill ourselves
Either with poison or by the gun
For surely death will come
When once God seek for our return.
