Death Has A Shadow Poem by RyuOh Kenshin

Death Has A Shadow

I Walked through the day and night,
Passing by crowds of people
They only look at my outsides
But not my insides, I'm dying
And fading from thia world

At the end of days, my soul starts to dissipate into deaths hands
It whispers to me in the wind to let me know that's he's coming for me
It's stalking me through the shadows
Just waiting for the right time

I don't blame him
He's only doing what he's cursed to do
So I enjoy life to the fullest
But everyday it gets harder to live
My Soul starts to slip from my body
As I look at my mirror, I see myself fading into grey and death is right beside me watching

It has me by the throat
The agonizing pain from the inside disease is getting stronger
I'm starting to dissapear every second
Death is trying to swallow me whole
And will get it's wish, but he's going to have to choke on me first

My final destination is going to hill that was thought of a mountain
Where the grasses are greener and where you can see the sunset
So I sit down seeing the red-orange color flame shining light through the sky,
And death is sitting right beside me watching it too
But then the night came too quickly and it was turning dark
But I realize it was just me fading to black

Goodbye world my eyes said
I fell lifelessly to death arms
And he finally caries my soul to where all souls have a home
