Death Of Intelligible Politics Poem by Gedion Onyango

Death Of Intelligible Politics

These days when politicians talk on TV,
I need a PG, for my children,
Because, their talks smell wowoed, with a luster of in-intelligible graveyard
Their mouths reek insanity; their tongues wag evil
They laugh sick and promise hokum,
As they mark deaths of my brothers to make me safe

Whatever they say these day dissuades intelligence,
And I fear for my children
As humanness is buried and darkness proceeds forward
Their mouths, like their heads are full of rot,
Probably a Moral disintegration,
But they are lucky for lack of intelligible consumers, in the name of democracy
As if democracy has become a triumph for stupidity

Or when did individual freedom equaled to death of tolerance?

These days when political leaders talk on TV,
I need a PG to try to save the future generation
Because their role as role models has gone with the smoke
As Political leadership becomes a preserve for crooks
With crooked ideas
in-intelligible for cosmopolitanism

And heroes for our children have remained imagery of violence,
Our parents are those ignorant and arrogant prophets
Of Hate and Discrimination,
Those oblivious
That individual rights equals to individual co-existence
