Death (Sorry Sad One) Poem by brads brads

Death (Sorry Sad One)

Time for me to go, the night is now,
the day is over, the birds have flown,
The days are night, there are no more sights,
Summer has gone, the darkness has come,

Strange and eerie feeling, cold as snow,
I started this journey alone, I will go on alone,
The tension in my heart, from another groundhog day,
My irrational thoughts are with me, with each decision I make,

Despair and deep darkness follows me,
My sin was too much hope, for a real existence,
Hundreds of thousand fears, followed by as many tears,
I consider a spiritual life, as another possibility,

Death is not the end, it is only another place,
My body slowly begins to grow old and cold,
My carriage of life holds my soul to immortality,
My silent knowledge of the beyond is my future,

I don’t deserve the heart that made me part of the human race,
I’m just a living earth bound spirit, lost and dazed,
Choking on my tears till it hurts my burning throat,
I no longer have a name, just a heart full of pain,

Got to get rid of this insanity,
It’s easier to hide away, than it is to reach out, and show my fear,
If I was to die tonight, would anyone really cry? ,
Lost in my black heart, forever in my eternity,

I’ve been dying now for over 30 years,
One more step closer, one foot in the grave,
Ill step through the light, full of curiosity,
Destined to resting in god's security and embrace,

Tear drops fall for days at a time,
There is a new grave made today, I’m heading its way,
Death is forever not just for life,
Welcome to my world, my troubles and strife,

The journey begins distilled and filtered,
Tiredness is brought on by chemical assistance,
Start the journey with a soak, fresh and clean,
Relaxed in liquidicity, to a watery demise.
