Death Will Claim Us All
Death will claim us all
whether slinking inside a cringing skin
or walking proud and fearless then.
I've lived my life without the mask
so many wear and weather supine.
now, in the autumn of my time, I bask
Without the mask that never was
'cause I did alright; for the life I've lived
was always real and mine alone to hone~
I've lived my life worldly wise and free
and countenanced no one saying to me
"you have no right to be…"
