Deathless Poem by Roland Bastien

Deathless

Rating: 5.0

DEATHLESS.

Flitting over woes
While eyes
Brimming with hot tears
From past wars
Souls

Who bleat at the will?
The glee of lore.

They flee to watery sheen
From purgatory
Where magic sounds awake
Sleepers upon genomes
And neural synapses.

Soldiers forearm
Dragon flies and cringing
Gurgle onto clouds.
Steam bear - fresh flesh
Ecstasy.

Oh wretched haze
Nothing loath
Doors are clogged
By bloodshed
A day apart.
