Deep Does Dwell A Man Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Deep Does Dwell A Man

Rating: 5.0

Wish, man were a book open and fair,
Not one dwelling so deep
And needing a fair peep,
You dive deep, his dark secrets to share,
But he's still not there at bottoms bare.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Today's so-called civilised man wears many a mask. Civilisation seems to have made him dwell deep down the waters. It is no longer easy to judge him from the outside. He's an iceberg more hidden than visible. This ditty wishes, man were an open book.
