What are we?
Holding hands in the dark,
I feel it, we're so complete.
Yet out in the open, we're side by side,
but our hands stay dangling at our side.
I don't understand why we're still so shy,
Hiding our feelings deep inside.
So many times I wanted to say,
We're in this together I promise to stay.
Yet it seems like something's bothering you,
and you don't want it that way?
I know there are obsticals,
and it seems like they're always there for you and me,
But can't you see?
Things just get harder the longer we take,
So it's now or never, I don't wunna wait.
Cos we've been waiting forever,
Deep in our hearts,
just to hold hands in the dark.
