Default Wisdom
Just recently it dawned on me I’m really getting old,
With age thus wisdom follows suit- that’s what I have been told;
Staring at an empty sky I’d find myself most times,
Just waiting for an eagle eye to open from my mind,
Alas! so went streaming by, the countless dawns and dusks,
Found not one clever molecule amongst the gathering dust!
