Defeated But Not Destroyed Poem by Bonny Babychan

When we were young
There were things to be sung
We thought things would turn out fine
Now that we are grown up
Paths are still the same
But there is no one
Whom I know the name
Where will I get what I seek
Still want to do something
And show every one
These paths those lack the flowers
A life that’s filled with thorns
Nothing but filled with hatred and
No love to claim
Changing seasons
And I change with out reasons
Friends became strangers and
Without reason I became unknown
The enthusiastic fools that we have become
Estranged and losing myself to paranoia
Is this fate?
I know that a day will come
When earth and the sky will come together
And every thing will start again
I know I have to survive this time of testing
The way the night is followed by a day
The winner is the one who knows this
Almighty will listen to your heart
the way he always have
Paths open up for you to the eternal bliss
And will begin a new life
You will never know
When you have started walking it
