Defence Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Defence

Defence

Hey you, the president
Open eyes and ears
Be careful and listen
To what I have to say.

Curious, as a poet
I stood and observed.

In sky seemed to be
Kite had a small tail.

A "Red Wing, " an "Eagle."

Assured and devoted
The tiny little bird
Attacked a huge bird
Defending its own nest…

I thought of Yemen when
Stands to "Bald Eagle! "

World knows you
You, john of the White House,
Brainless and too dumb!
Find yourself with conscious,
Search for good consultant…
And ask them "translate"
What I wrote and have said
Of power, home, shelter
And defending righteous
Also, life and the nest.

You pee at a hard rock
When treating others
As lower classes
Or nothing but slaves,
Threating, harsh, always:
"We set you on fire! "

Look in the large mirror
Can you see behind dirt?
