Defender Poem by Garrett Westcott

Defender

Into darkness the defender roars
With light as His weapon
In what seems like an endless war
The victory is certain
But as the casualties mount
Where will I be?
When they finish the body count
I pray that the Lord
Will defend me this day
And my life will be delivered
From death and the grave
