Give me the definition of friendship
Is it the keeping of company?
The wiping of teary eyes
The provision of security
Or the sharing of fun
What at all is it?
Friendship!

Tell me who a friend is
Is he the one that keeps you smiling?
The one that urges your going
The one that keeps your secret
Or the one that makes you special
Who at all is he
A friend!

What makes one a friend
For hosting one all the time
For counseling one every hour
For being with one always
Or for keeping your back
What at all need I do?
To become a friend!
