Deja Vu Poem by Paul Warren

Deja Vu

I stand up slowly and look around
Puzzled I am as the light dims without a sound
The feeling is of unease as I come to realise
I have been here before I know without disguise

So I know each word that is spoken
Are my actions of a dream from which I haven't woken
Is this a foretelling of a future so near
Or a illusion of the mind that is somewhat queer

I am wondering why this has occurred
Is it a Godly sign and not so absurd
Should I take it in now as a warning to me
Or is it just a wandering of my mind to be free.
