Deja Vu White Butterfly By Gio Masserati

DeJa Vu White Butterfly

Butterfly?
Who could orchestrate this moment any better
than the forces of nature

what's meant to be will be
for those who are seeking
the Lord's will

As I sit by the pool pen in hand
in between turning pages
I look up to see my white butterfly
looking around and coming toward me

I saw his friend on the way walking over
unless could it be? the same one butterfly?
tranquilizing looks at me
flitting every here and there
a knowing that I'm one of few who care

how silly how this butterfly
has made my day like a God wink
'I Love You Back' this girl did say

and now I'll lay here by the pool
and let reflections of the water's shimmering ripples
take me back to prayers for the Lord's will
and rare signposts or sightings for direction

It must be the day for 102. Read a poem of Kim Barney (102) and now yours. Makes my day. Thank you for such a lovely poem.
