The way a tottering boy tempts death
You leant against the shoulder of regret.
Our shadows inter-
-twined & -ran;
Revealing a late delicacy.
We should have searched for the corners of the abyss,
But each sighting won's contingent
On a loss.
Like this, the likes of you remember
A world which never cared to save them,
Stacking their hearts while waiting for a bus to hell
Where all the men who fought their tears
Are languishing.
