Mounting the toilet seat, we stand
On one foot each so that it takes us all.
We watch in the building next door, a small
Family: man, woman and child.
We imagine a life for them, names, a home of things
Plugged on TV.
We fight.
Which of us would be the one
If mother had only had one child?
Which one did father buy from the store?
We wish the death of siblings were an easy thing.
