Delude The Wise Poem by Ibn Ali

Delude The Wise

To every one I love
Maybe I've the symptoms of being an only child
All my mother' s love
And the crown of my father's pride
The heart in this young lion
I know I'll die a sinner
I hope I don't die sinning

You're incredulous
And wonder why

Without pillars did not suspend itself
We're traveling to an end
Only to start again
Fountain pens leave blotches on my thumbs
Nostalgia has its price
Holding on, its own expense
My thoughts are sprayed
Effects of suspended disbelief
From hours spent aquainting
I'm an attentive student
Television pacifies the stupid
Influences what you are
Why read, when desire is to see
Descriptions read and heard exclude the eyes
How do I delude the wise
With what
