Delusions Of Grandeur... - Poem by DEEP DARK SOUL POET

Defying gravity with delusions of grandeur
Accepting limits isn't something you can change
Until you don't know what they are
You cant be pulled down when your together

It's quite a simple thing to do
Just between gravity and you.
Natural laws are binding
Then, answer this, say's who?

Live your dreams as you planned them
Working together in tandem
I hope you will be happy my precious friend
As every one deserves the chance to fly in the end

It's just a bit like singing,
Catching that single perfect tone.
Take the law and ditch it
And draft one of your own.

I hope in the end you get it
And live never to regret it
Newton only discovered it
But why do we have to obey it

No wings of wax like Icarus
Nor fear of mortal jeer or gloat
Release the ties of mind and man
Who says that you won't float?
