Dementia Angels Poem by Micron Jan

Dementia Angels

Each day a puzzle pieces misplaced
My name is she but I am still a welcome face
You forgot how to talk but in silence love still sings
A bond unbroken through everything

Oh the Angels they come to stay
With love that never Fades away
You talk to me express needs with your eyes
Through the storms of change you hold on tight
In the darkest showers angels bring the light

So let us cherish every fleeting glance
In the dance of time we take a chance
We will eat cake feed the birds and laugh
For though the Mind May wonder far
The heart remembers who you are

Oh the Angels they come to stay
With love that never Fades away
You talk to me express needs with your eyes
Through the storms of change you hold on tight
In the darkest hours angels bring the light

So let us Cherish every fleeing glance
In the dance of time we take a chance
We will eat cake feed the birds and laugh
Though the mind may wander far
The heart remembers who you are

Oh the Angels they come to stay
With love that never fades away
You talk to me express needs with your eyes
Through the storms of change you hold on tight
In the darkest hours angels bring the light

Oh the angels not the end just a different way
With angels by our side we'll find our way
In the tapestry of love will leave our song
Together will be forever her strong
