Desiderata



Let not happiness
be personal selfishness
life's much, much more
everyone stands on the same human shore-
every gift has to be shared
with love and kindness geared
for a higher purpose and order
and healing of silent sorrow-

this then is the desired Utopia:
noble and sublime -beyond all despair and fear
