Desire Poem by Chandra Shekhar Dubey

Desire

Rating: 5.0

Leaden dreams prick
eyes perplexing mind
in the oblivion of a sunken heart
As a dull day opiates
casting its shadows on leaves
A plaintive Budha smiles
to a moribund world.
Thousand desires dance
to the tune of dark God
To be burnt to ashes in Shiva's cosmic dance.
