Mystic Journey Poem by Chandra Shekhar Dubey

Mystic Journey

Rating: 3.0

Sitting in old cane chair
In my garden I dream of
Some distant land painted in green.
Thick groves, hive rows
Luring the bees from distant flowers
To hoard the nectar in its cells.
The fragrance of the wood
Intoxicates me with its wilderness.
Moist waves of wind touch
My body bathed in its esoteric
Fragrance of healing ecstasy
Leaving me in a state of trance.
Bereft of physical world
I soar in a realm of inner peace
Where one joy leads to another
Igniting my mind like thousand
Lamps in a row in radiant glow
Connecting my soul to a river
Of light that flows silently, slowly.
Here time cuts space and space
Leaps beyond time painting
A universe of tranquility
That knows no mundane woes.
I glide in its mystic stream
Like a straw rippling and rolling
Unaware of its journey.

A universe of tranquility that knows no mundane woes......yes, it's the fathomless worth of tranquility. A beautiful poem.....5 stars.
