Desire Poem by VIPINS PUTHOORAN

Desire

Save some time
for the life once desired.

Joy remains,
as if happiness
was once offered.

Move freely,
as if freedom
was given—
as if, once,
it was unbound.

Without light,
without water,
placed behind the bars
of one's heart
