Desire For A Smile Poem by Tosin Abegunde

Desire For A Smile

Desire for a smile.
Dearest,
My desire doesnt cost much
It but achieves alot
Pleasant to recipient
And harmless to the giver
Though short lived
Its memory is for a long time
When you smile
It tranquils my topsyturvy
Giving it to me calms my fuss
The fountain of my joy when sad
Antidote for my illness when sick
My navigator when astray
Correcting fluid when erring
My brain box, pills from autism
Give it to me once more
To observe a refreshing moment Without which, i am miserable
Honey please, just a smile.
