Despair Poem by Karthi satheesan

Despair

The shroud wound around me,
Curtains down,
Alone with nothing, but thoughts,
Of ailing, draining memories from past,
"Despair", you are the guest Inever invited.

The world nothing, but a moving blur,
The worldly sights and malls,
The traffic lights and cars,
All nothing but a farce you revealed.

Emptiness, your gift,
Stole life's zest.
But never mind, it is yet your gift.
I'd just curl in my black hole,
And would let time sleep.

The masquerade is done.
The time has come to face the past.
I invite you in,
My heart, it is all yours to take.
