Desperation Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Desperation

When Desperation sets in,
When no one fits the bill,
I sit me down and ponder.
Why today ~ I still feel ill?

Why today is like yesterday,
And like the days last week,
Why the Doctors have not found the Answers,
To why my Legs still do ache?

I sit me down and ponder,
Feeling the soreness in my skin,
Wishing the pain will soon abate,
Praying for Comfort from HIM.

If my Doctors who are but Human,
Cannot find answers to comfort me,
Then to HIM who Rules the World,
I cry "Dear G-D ~ please heal me".

For weeks and months before today,
I've sat in discomfort and pain,
Wondering when the ache will abate,
And I'll be free from the pain ~ again.
