Destiny Poem by Perry Sophocleous

Destiny

Rating: 3.0

Pride will not let me avoid it
Fear will not let me face it
Lost in limbo trying to find myself
A once forgotten memory in a distant past of mine
Clarity of oneself has become a fog of uncertainty
What I am destined to be is what I shall surely see

But destiny can be missed in the blink of an eye
Have I missed this enlightening moment, oh have I oh have I
I long for the sweet release of a coma
For this pain is too much and no matter what road I take
Todos los caminos llevan a Roma!
