Determined But Solitary Poem by Edwina Reizer

Determined But Solitary

To get things done
is how he'd begun.
He'd work through the day.
At night he would play.
He'd take out his cards
and deal just for one.
He played solitaire
and had his fun.
He needed no one
to get things done
but in the end
he needed a friend.
