Devil's Angel Poem by Radhika Karia

Devil's Angel

Rating: 5.0

Don’t get fooled with the angel’s eyes,
I have heard her saddening cries.
A devil came by and wrecked her heart,
So bad, that she tore her life apart.
Her fault was just that she couldn’t resist his evil smile,
She forgot how an angel and devil couldn’t last a while.
But she tried so hard to keep the love aflame,
Love wasn’t after all a vicious game.
Ups and downs are a way to live,
Its all about - a little to take and a lot to give.
Too much is lost when you expect a lot,
The devil forgot – he’s all that the angel has got.
