She walked in silence, heart so wide,
A gentle flame the world could not hide.
With hands that healed and eyes that knew,
She gave her love to me, to you.
A crown she wore not made of gold,
But kindness deep, and courage bold.
Through lonely halls and royal pain,
She stood for hope, in storm and rain.
She touched the sick, she hugged the poor,
She opened every locked-up door.
No palace walls could cage her grace,
The world found light within her face.
Though time has passed, we still can feel
The truth she lived, the wounds she'd heal.
Not Queen by rule — but Queen by heart,
Her name lives on, her gentle part.
So when the stars begin to shine,
Remember her, the rose divine.
In every tear and every smile,
Diana walks with us each mile.
Your poem reflects the sentiment of many who both loved and honored her. Nicely done, .: -)
beutiful tribute to an amazing women, I remember as a child she was the face of the monarchy. I was ten when she passed and still remember it. Lovely work!
What a grand piece! She was a very good woman who died fighting for all things true and beautiful!
