Did Manning Help Avert War In Iran? Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Did Manning Help Avert War In Iran?

Did Manning Help Avert War in Iran?

Eyes focused on the screen
Fixed are arms; scaffolding
Runs gutter as brook; teardrops
Volcano is flamed: "Is this life? "
Spits out the lava; long the sigh.

A message on Viber:
'They ask me my place
It's behind the mountains
But I came to this zoo
‘Big mistake'
I wish me to return
My worry will be one
My sheep, goats
Becoming food for wolves'

Then paper, article on Manning
Reagan, Bush and their lies
Tel Aviv, Neocons; falsified history

'Come tears; out with life
Relieve me from this corpse
(Watergate, Bagram and Cuba)
Better lose Goddamn soul
Than being an asshole...'
