Didn't Mean (Tah Getya Hott) Poem by Cherokee Akan Ewe

Didn't Mean (Tah Getya Hott)

geah
and um she be arrogantly rite
tah'dah head
walking concocted
she got my brand jeans on fitted
painted her toenails one of each tribal cloth design
from the Eastside
of the hemisphere
ten toes tell a tale
and so does her fingernails too
quoting our Ancestors and Elders' nonverbally
front to back
on the tee shirt
cause we don't talk much (when we funking righ)
we let our logographic calligraphy due ya
to the brain educationally
we reign
and you must know
around her small waist
printed in our titles and ranks her bees poppin
not at the range
funny how thangz changed
cause dat hair got thicker plus lengthier
rocking tah dah beat
i told her about dat certification at the light
we pulled off slowly in two different lanes side by side
regulating the paved ways
and its funny how thangz may change....
