Differences Poem by soren Barrett

Differences

Battered square peg in a round hole, a bleating lamb lies with a roaring lion
drip of water on a burning coal, Mohamed moved to Zion
Pull knotted rope through a needle's eye, a dry cactus in a marsh
If not on an elephant then on a horse fly, a glove velvet harsh
Color red green, close to blue yellow
Draw the unseen, a girl now a fellow
Opposites attract flies, truth lays with lies
dressed in harlequin disguise when the fading shadow dies
