Different Shades Of Love Poem by soren Barrett

Different Shades Of Love

Intoxicating fragrance on the breeze that attracts the bees soft and sweet
Colored blossoms tender buds above rushing stream floods eyes greet
Force of flowing waters turbulent strength that slaughters the tender
Flow too strong to last long to it all, all life does surrender

A tree stands tall shading all, giving shelter from the storm
Force of the sun warming everyone night to day transform
A singing bird can be heard, a feathered note
A branch strangled by vine upon which it does supine, life in death to promote
