Different Versions Of Me Poem by Paul Warren

Different Versions Of Me

The future fascinates me
I wonder if there is more to it to see
Of it as it is stretching ahead of us all
Where decisions will be made in our call

As there is a diverse range of outcomes
Stretching out in infinity to come
And we all think and decide
Which future we will abide

So as I sit here and think it through
Are there other versions of me too
Living their lives as they would
On different timelines and decisions as they should.

It's interesting to contemplate how the future might have turned out had you made different choices in life.but it can also augment feelings of dissatisfaction with those already made. Perhaps your other self in a parallel universe made better decisions He's lucky . Very nicely presented.
