Differs Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Differs

Differs

Advice of
- "Eat, noiseless
-and slow…"
- "Be polite…"
-are now old!

Decency
-in looking and talking
-are now dead.

Relations
-one with one
-husband, wife
-sounds foolish.

Once the words
- "Bitch", "Bastard"
-were the curse
-now, our lives…

The use of
B and D
C and C
P and P
-and their likes
-were secret and insult;
-now they are parts of life.

I recall "Madam X"
-hiding in the pillow
-reading it late at night…

Look into screen
-which was not
-see me there
-and smile…

"How the world
-has differed…

F…F…F…
