Digging

Dig not me o man!
I soil, place my request.

Dig not me o man!
Plant greenery around.

Dig not me o man!
Else erosion spoils soil.

Dig not me o man!
But make me strong, plant more.

Dig not me o man!
Let me breathe free.

Dig not me o man!
Let us work together for good.

Dig not me o man!
Pave path to sound of love.

Dig not me o man!
We both need to live together.

Dig not me o man!
Stealing the greenery cover.

Dig not me o man!
To full the concrete world.

Dig not me o man!
I need thee, and you me.

Dig not me o man!
Ruining it beyond repair.

Dig not me o man!
O man! Dig me not.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Don't construct villas at cost of our jungle. A small forest next to my house is being cut down recently. It's really painful to see them that place empty. Photo courtesy isaacquesada on unsplash.
