Dimensions Poem by Julia Yusupova

Dimensions

Rating: 4.0

while you are stuck picking
between left and right
something just divided you

into lower and higher
now do you want
to be sliced at the waist

legs tossed out like
yesterday’s garbage?
or is it the head

that gets shaved off
like foam off a pint?
it’s hard to attach

to any home
when the compass
arrow is spinning
