Dinner Date Poem by Saul Palti

Dinner Date

Rating: 2.0

He walked in with a grin
as wide as the ginger cat
far from the hidden bin
by himself is where he sat

looking over the menu
deciding what to eat
when his eyes met you
quickly looking at his feet

what separates the canyon
is what spread us apart
no place for a bunion
as cupid shoots his dart
