Gone In A Day Poem by Saul Palti

Gone In A Day

Thats a nice story to tell
trickster on the corner
bleeding from hell
or is it my dark cellar

happy and ripe today
with joy I tell ya
for the good times play
as I fall in love with her

chasing the dragon
while my mellow fell
up and quickly gone
this chime does bell

ones fortune is rising
from the easy credit
for im hiding
my quick touch debit

if only I could quit my habit
of selling pieces of lies
I could run after the white rabbit
and sell my masterpiece the alibi
