Diplomacy Poem by Audrey Heller

A little diplomacy, goes a long way! That's
why it's smart, if you think before you speak
and be careful, what you say! A slip of the
tongue, could have a negative impact and
bring, unnecessary heartache, down the line!
That's why it's important, to be careful what
you say and to whom, then you'll save face,
in the nick of time! A lot of things we say, are
misconstrued and then, how do we make
amends? You had no intentions, of hurting
anyone's feeling, or even gave it, the slightest
thought. Least of all, you never wanted anyone,
to become distraught! If there is one thing to
learn here, it's be careful what you say, when
it's your turn to speak! For words, can come
out sounding wrong and cut, very deep!
